YARD DEBRIS PICK-UP PROGRAM

The yard debris pick-up is a free service provided by the association for Mountain Park homeowners. The landscape crew picks up yard debris that is left at curb side every Monday. However, it sometimes it takes a couple of days to reach all the homes in Mountain Park during "leaf season."

We  even give you free twine to tie branches and twigs. Just ask at the front desk of the clubhouse.

Here are the guidelines for setting out yard debris:

  • Please use paper leaf bags (during the dry season) and heavy duty garbage bags (during the wet season) for grass and leaves.
  • It's really important that each bag and bundle not exceed 25 lbs. The landscape crew will not pick them up if they exceed the weight limit.
  • Stumps and branches need to be under 4 inches in diameter to be picked up.
  • Please put branches and twigs in bundles and tie tightly with strong twine. Branches not to exceed 8 feet long. Free twine is available at the clubhouse.
  • Only yard debris is accepted– no garbage, nor food, or pet waste, please.
  • Put debris curb side on Sunday evening.

Tagged bags. Didn't get your yard debris picked up? You may have a tagged bag. If bags or bundles are heavier than 25 lbs or contain content other than yard debris, the landscape crew will not pick up the bags. Instead, a note will be attached to the debris with an explanation as to why it wasn't picked up.

If you get a tagged bag, please remove the debris from the curb, bag and bundle according to the guidelines, and put it out the following Sunday evening.
