Mission Competion! Renovated clubhouse reopens
On Monday, March 15, 2010 after 10 months of construction, the newly renovated Mountain Park clubhouse has finally opened the doors to its members.
The reworked facility offers improved social and business spaces on the main floor, with conference room, elevator, multi-purpose event space and wi-fi work area added to the existing entry lobby and banquet hall, all air conditioned.
Downstairs, more fitness activities have been incorporated, including a large sports court, strength & conditioning area equipped with weights and machines, two rooms for exercise classes, family changing rooms, locker rooms, game room with table games and Wii, and a new aquatic area comprising a 25-yard lap pool, therapeutic spa, and warm-water leisure pool with shallow area, current channel, vortex and waterslide.
All areas of the clubhouse are now open except for the aquatic center which is expected to open in late March.
Plans are being made for a grand re-opening of the clubhouse on May 1, 2010. Moutain Park members will receive invitations for the event.
