About Us |
|
Mountain Park is a nationally recognized planned community in Lake Oswego, Oregon. We have a population of approximately 8,500 (almost one-quarter the population of the City of Lake Oswego) which makes us one of the largest home owners associations in the United States. Mountain Park is situated on 700 acres of land and is located on a dormant volcano known as Mt. Sylvania. Mountain Park was the vision of Carl Halvorson and was developed in 1968. Most of the 185 acres of common area is undeveloped and maintained in a natural state and a large portion is manicured and beautifully landscaped. Mountain Park is a unique community made up of single family homes, townhouses, condominiums, and apartments. The Association is governed by a seven-member volunteer Board of Directors. There is also an architectural committee. The Association employs 11 full-time and many part-time staff and is overseen by a General Manager. As a member of the Mountain Park Home Owners Association you and your family have access to all amenities including our superb clubhouse, tennis courts, parks, playgrounds, 15 miles of walking paths, and a host of life-style enhancing services, fitness classes and programs, and special events provided by the Mountain Park staff. Refer the online news and calendar for a current list of events and classes. Assessment fees help cover the cost of all operations and facility maintenance.
